"Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."

"I really appreciate it the seclusion and quiet along with the lovely stone elements that were retained in the remodeling of these old villas. Receptionist was helpful. There was no air conditioning but it was surprisingly cool when we kept the doors closed and the fan running. Suggestions: screens on doors to allow air without flies, more kitchen supplies (towels, dish rack), extra fan, easier parking, one morning Nespresso catridges...villa is very far from shopping."
