"The hotel has a traditional feel and, while it may lean towards business travelers, it was just right for our holiday trip as three friends. The location was excellent—close to Plaka and Monastiraki, with most places we wanted to visit within a 15-minute walk. The immediate surroundings aren’t the prettiest, but just a couple of blocks away the area feels much nicer.
The room was on the smaller side (quite typical for Athens), but the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with a great large shower. We did notice some street noise, though it wasn’t too bothersome.
The hotel has a great view of the Acropolis from the top floor, where they serve breakfast and drinks/snacks.
Overall, a convenient and comfortable option in the heart of Athens."
"What service. Everyone was so friendly, and attentive, and professional; the kind of service you would only expect at the finest establishments. The room is clean and cozy. Bedspreads and pillows are just average, but better than at the Grand Hyatt a few miles away. The President Hotel also has one of the best and most comprehensive breakfast buffets in town. "
