Osaka is definitely a little more loose a little more relaxed when it came to the party scene when compared to Tokyo which is more business minded. It's a great city with all the wacky signs and colors and flavors and what you'd expect from your trip

Osaka is a beautiful respite from the business of Tokyo. While you can still get an experience of city life, Osaka is much quieter and gives a serene feeling. There is history located all over Osaka with many shrines and few temples inside the city.

A great city. I stayed for 5 nights which, after booking, I thought might be too long. But, it was great, for both sightseeing in Osaka, as well as day trips to Nara, Kobe & Universal Studios. Dotonbori is busier than Shibuya in Tokyo! Such a buzz.

Osaka is quite renowned for the food scene. If you're interested in seeing what dishes and foods are unique to Japan, Osaka is the best place in the country to experience it all. The shopping is also out of this world if you go to the Hankyu mall!

Very much enjoyed our time in Osaka. USJ obviously, but also enjoyed Dotonbori, Nipponbashi Denden Town... Osaka Museum of Housing was neat, but not what I was expecting. America-mura ended up being mostly a US brand shopping district though.

A very great city. Would highly recommend going to Dotonbori street in downtown Osaka. The takoyaki we had was wonderful, and there are several restaurants littered around the area. Has canal rides going down the river if you are into that.

Osaka is easily my favorite city in Japan so far, it has a lot of fun things to do shopping, USJ and so much good street food. Last but not least the people in Osaka are great, the people here have always been kind and helpful towards me.

Osaka is a great place to shop and eat with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. While the Osaka Station can initially be confusing if you're not at street level, the station offers tourists and locals with so many options.

Must see the Dotonburi area.. we were dazzled by the lights and the many shops and areas to walk in. On the other hand, it's the only area we visited where we saw trash on the street. This is probably due to the many tourists.

There are many areas in Osaka that I liked such as Shinsaibashi & Namba. Tours from Osaka are recommended such as food tours and sightseeing tours to Amanohashidate. Overall easy to get around with subway and rail line.
"Enjoyed our time at this property as it had everything along with all of the amenities. As a family of 5 the late night ramen from 9 to 10pm was a hit! I was able to use the onsen 2 times during our 6 night stay (got back too late from universal and expo) and found it good. One large pool along with a small cold pool. Best time to go was during the ramen experience as there was little to know people in the onsen at that time. Hotel provided all of the toiletries that were needed (towels, comb, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner and body wash). Hotel also provided next day transfer services to our next location (Hakone) and the prices were quite reasonable. "
