4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Panglao

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable period to visit Panglao is in February, March, and November, when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. For a thorough exploration of the island's key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions ā€” including its beaches, diving spots, islands, relaxing areas, snorkeling locations, chocolate-inspired venues, hilly terrains, swimming spots, guided tours, and dancing events ā€” a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This budget-friendly option offers great value for money on a budget travellerā€™s itinerary.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a visit to Panglao, you could find attractive hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. You may discover discounted rates in the Last-Minute Deals area, which could be perfect for a spontaneous escape. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app lets travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you secure the best option when rooms become available or prices drop.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Panglao hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised experience and potentially greater value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it's on the higher side, we'll suggest alternative dates that may help you find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Panglao's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money on offer. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
