Since we arrived tried to contact Expedia that we were upset about the room but due to poor internet connection could not get thru. Had to walk steep stairs to the 3rd floor, of an old building, huffing n puffing, rattan on chairs tattered, dilapidated mattress, filthy bacteria laden string to pull flush, toilet cover cracked, insecure seat, lumpy pillows, old stained mirror, breakfast laid out in old plastic containers.Horrible! Pics on website deceiving, upset! Only saving grace were staff and lady who cooked breakfast offered us scrambled eggs on second last morning.breakfast area colourful but had shoddy curtains and laundry sheets - we had no idea what we were getting into as we booked a package air and hotel. We have booked a lot of travel with Expedia but this was the worst. Moved to second floor mattress better. Imagine walking up and down those steep stairs - had to take a break to catch our breath. Not used to these standards. Upsetting experience.

O hotel é bem localizado, no Centro Histórico então dá pra fazer muita coisa pelos arredores. A pensar de ser um prédio antigo é bem confortável e tudo muito limpo e organizado. O atendimento é 10/10, todos os funcionários foram super educados e gentis. Pra quem vai sair a noite e tem medo, sempre tem policiamento ao redor, e o pessoal da portaria vem atender bem rápido. Pousada mal conservada, precisa de reparos. Café da manhã bom. Se não pedir pra limpar e trocar roupa de cama e toalhas, apenas tiram o lixo. Não há interfone no quarto, caso precise de algo precisa descer as escadas até a recepção.

Hospitalidade positiva
A pousada é localizada no Pelourinho, em pouco tempo de caminhada até o elevador Lacerda, mas na rua da propriedade o Uber não tem autorização para entrar. Cheguei de madrugada, o Sr. Antônio foi extremamente gentil em nos recepcionar a pé no percurso até a pousada e retornar à praça principal para acompanhar meu esposo que esqueceu o celular no carro (Uber). O motorista também foi extremamente honesto e retornou para devolver. A hospedagem é extremamente simples, tem uma escada super íngrime, então para idosos, família com criança é bem delicado. O café da manhã estava tudo muito saboroso e simples.
