Great hotel. Perfect to stop and break up the trip between Lake Waikaremoana, Mahia and then back to Napier. Double room unit, ideal for a family where kids require their own room. Had a good supplied kitchenette will all the required necessities.

Let’s be fair the place could use an update but had a smooth (and somewhat funny) check in with a cool little 3-legged dog manning reception. Didn’t end up actually staying due to personal circumstance but from what I saw the place was in pretty good nick for what I paid. My studio was HUGE, beds felt comfy, staff were chill and friendly (we like chill) and a nice, quiet environment

Ann greeted us warmly when we arrived with a bottle of fresh milk for our coffee and tea and made us feel at home. The rooms are spotless clean and have all the amenities you need for comfort and the kitchenette is terrific for cooking meals. It is a very cheery and welcoming place to relax and rest near the river.
