Staff fantastic and helpful. Room was really good and clean and in really good condition. Really nice comfy beds. Minor minuses: Two elevators really slow. Not enough luggagesafes after check-out to use. Only one big duvet for a couple.

We booked a family room, it is pretty clean. But please note that there is not toiletries, towels and bathroom mats. You may pay for towels, I suggest you bring your own towels and toiletries if you are going to stay in this property. You may pay for advance breakfast at 95Sek per person at the front desk the day before. It is worth it. There is a laundry area if you need it. Otherwise there is one opposite this property. Walking distance to the central station.

The room was spacious and had it’s own bathroom. Walk to the central train station is under ten minutes. The hostel is very clean. Lively atmosphere at the common area. Friendly staff.

Very good hostel. Clean, great location, close to the train station and right in the city. I wish you could bring your own drinks and food to eat in the shared space but they don’t allow it so you have to eat in your room which is unfortunate. Also need to pay to use the game facilities. Overall very nice though

Generator

This is a very good hostel with an excellent location. I would have given a higher rating if the check-in had gone smoother. The girl at the reception asked for my passport and I was about to hand it to her when she without an explanation just left, leaving me "hanging". Besides that, it was a very good experience staying with Generator Stockholm.

8/10 Very good

Very friendly, helpful staff. A great bar, which we went to each night. Good location, 15 min walk into centre. Room was clean, lots of storage and hooks. Could hear people and music in next room, guessing walls quite thin. Beds comfortable with reading lights and storage. They brought bath mat/hand towel when wrote on review. Would have expected towels. Over all a great hostel, would recommend.
Verified review

6/10 Good

Very basic accommodation. There is not much restaurants or cafes in the area and the hostel dining options are very limited. They also do not allow you to bring food inside so that is very inconvenient especially if you're travelling with family, let alone an elderly parent with diabetes. Oh well, maybe we just missed this from the fine print but I don't like it and why would even have a policy like this at all? Not everyone who stays here are backpackers. I tried to give 3 stars bec of the 2 staff who were accommodating and answered my questions.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Room was clean but my bed was uncomfortable - thin, hard mattress. And the bed frame squeaked noisily every time I got up. Motion sensor-activated bathroom light was a nuisance when someone wanted to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. One of the two elevators broke down during our stay and we had to climb 7 flights of stairs to reach our room. Breakfast was very good especially for SEK 95 and the staff were pleasant.

Dear Generator Team, I’m writing to share some feedback from my recent stay. The night before an important business meeting, I spoke with the front desk and was assured that I could use an iron in the laundry room the following morning. I also called in advance to confirm this. However, when I went to the laundry room the next morning, there was no iron available. This caused a major inconvenience, as I was unable to iron my clothes before my meeting and had to attend looking unprofessional. Given the nature of my visit, this was particularly disappointing. I value clear and accurate communication, especially when it concerns essential amenities. I hope steps can be taken to ensure other guests don’t experience a similar issue in the future. Kind regards, Larenzo Stay
