Yes, the hotel was in great condition, the location was central and the breakfast was delicious. But the thing that really distinguished this hotel was the level of service from the front desk.
We arrived in Stockholm from a red-eye flight around 10 in the morning. The gentleman at the front desk, not only checked us in politely and efficiently, he gave us free upgrades on 2 of our 3 rooms and allowed us to check into one of them immediately! Having a place to crash and stow our luggage was incredibly appreciated.
Also, after we checked out and left on a train to Oslo, I realized that I had left behind my ipad. I immediately submitted a claim on the Lost and Found page of their website. Within a few minutes, I received a call back notifying me that the tablet had been found and put aside for me. When I returned to Stockholm a few hours later, the (new) gentleman at Reception reached under his desk and whipped out my iPad!
Great service from their front desk and housekeeping staff. I truly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
