The property itself is ok for the area, however it is entirely over priced!! The same room can be booked in Cookeville for less than half the price, with more to offer location wise. It was convenient due to my son living close but I'd rather drive the hour there for the cost, especially since I worked during the day. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I will say that unfortunately I won't be returning to this location due to the charges

Only complaint I have is that we were a group of ladies aging from 64. - 80 and we were placed on 2 nd floor in room 202 which was at very end of long hallway. We did ask about elevator and the very young attendant wasn’t awRe if there was one or not and after realizing there was not did not offer to give us another room when I told her I wasn’t sure my 72 and 80 year old aunts could climb the stairs and pack luggage . Plus our commode would not flush . We called down to desk and she said she would have to call the manager. After an hour or so one of the ladies in our group worked on the commode and got it to flush and called back down to desk and the attendant said well good because I haven’t called my manager yet .

We came from Eastern Time zone, not realizing the hotel was on CST. Arriving at 2:40 for an attempted check in (advertised at 3 pm) I totally realize that being an actual hour and 20 minutes early instead of 20 minutes early could be an issue. The lady had no problem reminding me that it was 3 pm check in and they was my only option! The young lady that ended up checking us in at 2:50 CST was awesome….

Dangerous for handicapped and elderly!
It smelled like smoke and mold. The beds we’re comfortable, but plugs were falling out of the wall shoved behind the side table. The curtains were broken. The air conditioner worked well. The soaps and towels were nice, but the bathroom door was broken and going from my wheelchair to the toilet the seat slid to the side and I almost fell off! Super dangerous. The shower seat was uneven but sturdy. The shower head was broken so it made bathing difficult. The drain cover was just placed over the drain hole which was super nasty and my mother slipped on it. It’s definitely a 2 star hotel worth $70/$80 a night. Definitely not the $160 we paid!

Adequate
Overall, the hotel was fine. Rooms were relatively clean. Building was a bit more dated than I expected. We were put in a nonsmoking room near a smoking section and could still smell smoke to some extent. There was also a weird smell in the lobby. Continental breakfast was also fairly subpar. Price was a little high but there isn't much competition in the area.
