Had a spacious room that was clean and well appointed with a. small kitchenette. Older property that was built before the need to have outlets for so many of our devices but I got by. There was a nice pool and it is located on the beach. There were several restaurants nearby.

Nice condos
All was great except there were very loud folks next door. It was an adjoining room so no thick wall between us We were going to stay longer but we just weren’t getting the rest we wanted Didn’t complain just moved on

The property itself is manicured often and is well monitored. They even close all of the entrances at 10pm so only the front main door is open for business and service 24/7. However, the concierges are very limited in what they can do, i.e. They really keep track of the beach towels and the (indoor) shower towels in every apartment. And yes, it's a whole 1-bed 2-bath apartment with a stacked kitchen. The huge living room has two comfy sofa beds which could sleep two people each, whereas the bedroom's king sized bed could sleep three. The sliding doors on ground-floor apartments lead straight to the GIGANTIC turtle-filled pool with perfectly tempered clean water, which further leads to a beach featuring opaque, sandy and warm Pacific Ocean waters. Keep in mind: this is a highly discounted resort and is NOT one of those nearby "luxury" resorts that costs upwards of $1200 per night for a room at their gourmet all-inclusive facilities. There's no coffee or food anywhere on the property. If you want any luxury convenience (other than towels and soap, which are available from 9am to 5pm), you will have to leave the property, which I highly recommend. A plethora of restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies are right across the street which features a beautiful running/walking/cycling path. My family just drove 5 mins down to LaComer, bought some food and drinks to make for the duration of our stay, and saved thousands of dollars. Maybe I'm not a "luxury" guy after all. :)

Bummer
Couldn’t make payment with credit because their system was down. No WiFi available. Bathroom 1 had water all over the floor from an unknown source. Tried calling the front desk and the phone doesn’t work. Tried calling directly from my cell phone and I get a busy signal most of the night. It appears adjoining rooms are residences so was pretty noisy at some point. I will not stay here again. Positive: pretty good Italian restaurant on site. Super friendly staff and great food.

I never write a review or complain but this is my 2nd one to Expedia this week. This place was very disappointing to say the least. First off it is a basic "timeshare" not a nice hotel. Expedia and Bahia del Sol should reference timeshare in your description. So no services to mention plus 1 mile from anything else in town. They did have a walk up counter to buy a beer that was part of a small restaurant. It it did not have pool type finger foods like a simple hamburger, fries, salad, etc. More like Italian self serve cafeteria with no waiters hare you pick up you own trash. No waiter services at the pool or your room either. You are on you own.You have to pick up food and drink while or if you go in town. This timeshare did not come close to what it describe. It should say it is a out of town timeshare. It is a no thrills ghost town without any basic hotel services. It was not what you would expect from a $100.00 a night hotel. I would delete this place from you web site to protect your other customers. No place for someone expecting a nice hotel. Regards Mike

This is a great hotel located right on the water. It’s very calm and clean location, however note it is a hotel and not an all inclusive resort. That aside as a hotel stay it is amazing. The views are great, the rooms are comfortable and the pool is beautiful. I highly recommend the hotel and will return.

Great place
We had to look for a place for one night for family of 5 and found this pace. Needs some updating but friendly service and clean. Keep in mind this is a condo and not a hotel. We are thinking we could stay in the future in this place instead of expensive all inclusive hotel. It had a kitchen, so we could buy groceries and cook, and it would be cheaper.

Although this resort is a little dated they fact that it is right on the beach and has it's own pool makes up for it. Before we went, one of the biggest complaints was how cold the pool was, well they have put in a heater so the pool is beautiful now. You can bring your own drinks down, just no glass or coolers. The other complaint in the reviews we read was that the wifi was slow. It isn't the fastest (except in the lobby) but our room was right above the lobby so when fast wifi was needed I used my device in the bedroom that overlooked the lobby and it was great. Our condo was a 2 bdm/2 bath on 2 floors (very narrow, spiral staircase) with 2 balconies. Plenty of space. My biggest complaint was the condo below us was being renovated and there was a lot of noise during the day. Most of the time we were gone during the day so it really wasn't an issue. Most of the units are owned so there are lots of longtime tenants and renters who have their own little village with happy hours are each others places and get together at the onsite restaurant regularly. The average age is over 60 so they dance and have a great time when the restaurant has live music (a few nights a week) but then come 10pm when the restaurant closes, everyone is in bed. They have "palapa" wars so be careful not to take a longtime renters palapa or the fight will be on. They go down to the beach at 6am to claim their palapa for the day. The gardens between the condos and the pool were immaculate!

No Choice
We stayed at Bahia del Sol because the hotel we normally stay at was sold out. This hotel was a 15 minute walk away on the same beach. The hotel was tired - run down the bathrooms had an unpleasant smell, and even the towels were patched. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large, except the bathrooms. They were poorly lit and small. The gardens were pretty. The pool was clean and reasonable. There were not enough loungers on the beach. You had to pay extra for drinking water. The patios had a nice view but they were spattered with paint and were not clean. We would not choose to stay there again.

Peacefull beach stay
Quiet and on the beach - exellent ambiance. Kitchenette means you are on your own for food - but we were tired of all inclusives so this exelled as a perfect get away for a self sufficient travelling couple. 15 min walk to a grocery store at Paradise villia. Only downge - so everything is acessable with a short walk. Taxi always available for those that do not wish to walk. Staff very helpfull but not "pushy" as we have found elsewhere. Only downside was poor wifi in the room - much better in the lobby, if you realy need conectivity

A bit of an older hotel, very friendly staff, reasonably priced. We stayed here for one night while waiting to get into our timeshare. The gardens leading to the pool and beach are amazing.

Hotel close to beach and that's it!
Way over priced, glad we only spent one night there. No elevators, we had 2 pieces of luggage and one was two sets of gold clubs. We were on the third floor. Could not drink the water and the sliding glass door didn't lock.
