Property needs updated, for being cheap it was fine. Nothing special. Bed was clean. Comparable to motel 6. Not like what the pictures show.

2/10 Poor

Horrible
The room was horrible, stank like pee! It wasn't clean, we would not have wanted to used the bed or the shower, the heater didn't work?!? It was discussing! They stated no pet policy, but someone "living there had a dog" It came up to us, and not in a nice way?! I have phobia and let the guy know! It was t safe and I wasn't going to stay. He offered another room but it wasn't much better? He politely gave me my money back. We went to Best Western, stellar!

I'll try somewhere else next time.
The photos of this motel do a good job hiding the actual condition - at least of the room I was given. Old carpet, broken tiles in the bathroom, and a very very stale smell through the room.

2/10 Poor

Very rude front desk employee, room dark and old… all equipments in terrible condition… I totally understand 2star rating, but that was beyond worse!!! Cost me $103 per night which totally unacceptable.
Lana, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Broken fridge and tiles in the bathroom, ceiling fan falling off. Bed was uncomfortable, they didn't replace coffee.

Great value for the money. Red Bluff is a decent town, somewhat setup for tourism, so I might go there again to look around. This stay was a layover. Everything in the room was AOK.
Sanford, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Plenty of parking. There was a pool but not in use. Ice machine broken ask at the office. Room has microwave refrigerator and coffee pot. Old fashioned but adequate to crash while on a road trip and save money. Quiet, no loud traffic noises

That woman at the check-in was extremely rude I was not told or it was not made aware in the agreement for me to rent the room through the app that I had you have $100 deposit and when I didn't have it I was just SOL and I rode a bus to get there

The lady greeted me was very nice. The place inside is quite run down it needs to be refurbished. But for the price. I would stay here again. The bed was like brand new, thank you for a wonderful stay

This is a great hotel for its age and the price. The furniture was aged, but the bed was firm, and the linen and sheets were very clean along with the towels and wash cloths. the bathroom was fine, no mold or anything like that. The staff was very friendly. They let me check in early and even though the ice machine was broken they had ice at the counter available in separate plastic bags. However, there’s some stuff that needs an upgrade like the ice machine, but it’s outside along with the washer and dryer. The problem is, because the area has a lot of transients coming and going.

Absolutely wonderful
Wonderful hotel with wonderful people who run/own the property. It shows they take pride in their investment. I will return🙂
Kimberly, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Walking in the the room smelling like dog urine can hair in the sheets of the bed under the bed. Ac filter was clogged up with dog and cat hair. Office lady was rude and disrespectful.

OK Budget Motel - Cheaper than Motel 6
Internet worked. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Not enough hot water for morning shower. Good prices compared to other motels in the area. As mentioned in other reviews cracks in bathroom tiles. For a quick stay not bad for the rates that are charged.

Disconcerting checkin
Check-in was a little frustrating. It was around 5 PM and the office was closed already ring the bell the night person came out and didn’t have a reservation for me. Had to call the manager, I believe and I had to speak to the manager and she was able to, find my reservation was a little disconcerting when I knew I had a reservation. after everything was straightened out, Check-in went fast. the room and facilities were very nice for the price.
William, 1-night trip

Upon arriving, there are signs everywhere saying absolutely no pets. But there was literally a dog on the roof (another guest put him up there) but the desk clerk didn’t care. We get to our room and the bathroom window in the first floor room (large enough for someone to easily climb into) did not have a functioning lock. Just pushed right open and couldn’t be pulled closed again. Boyfriend had to walk back to the dark alley behind to push it closed. When we told the clerk, he responded “yeah… some of them are just like that”. He “upgraded” us to two queens, which was actually two fulls. This time it was missing the lock on the front door!!! The only lock on the door could be unlocked from the outside if someone had a key. We were too tired and just piled our luggage in front of the door for “security” but couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning. There was also chunks of wall cut out in the closet. We hung one of the blankets up on the broken curtain rod in case there was a camera or something in there. Otherwise, the tiny beds, shower, and bathroom were clean. If you are a single woman traveling PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not safe.
