Close to our destination.
Fine. We were greeted by a very nice, helpful young lady. She helped us with our needs just fine. One BAD thing is we put in for a wake up call very early, to make a court appointment, and it was not put into the system!!! Not happy!

Just wanted to get away
Wife and I just wanted to get away from cleaning, chores, "honey do list", and life in general. Look for a room in Seattle and found one at Silver Cloud. If you want to spend a weekend in Seattle and see some of the sights consider Silver Cloud. Very good service and rooms are clean and spacious. We used the valet parking with in and out privileges and that alone was worth the trip. If you haven't been to Seattle in awhile you will be shocked at the parking and pain it is to move around the city to do things. Between the in and out privileges and shuttle van my wife and were able to save enough on parking to pay for most of our meals. Go out all day then come back and relax in a great room.

Wonderful experience
I was pretty nervous about booking using the mystery hotel function. After booking, I will admit I was initially a little disappointed at the location of this hotel. That faded quickly once I learned they have a complimentary shuttle that has 5 different stops in downtown. They run on the half hour and you call for pick up. The hotel itself has excellent staff on site. Britt and Jen ( the gals who work the front desk) had smiles that were inviting. Both were friendly and helpful. We had great food and service in the hotel restaurant, but opted for room service most of our stay. Room service came quickly and also with a smile ( thanks Miguel!). I have to say that the staff is what made our experience at this hotel superior. I can't wait to come back!

Rooms and location are good.
Front desk staff were
Jimmys on 1st is a rip off and the food is expensive and very poor quality.
Find something in Seattle as the brunch and dinner menu is at best a poorly done fast food chain.
We found there was a total lack of servers and because of that very slow...
Use the shuttle service the hotel offers as those drivers were fantastic and very helpful.

Fantastic and affordable!
We enjoyed a fantastic room with a view of Safeco Field (baseball stadium in Seattle), including a wet bar, fridge, microwave, all the amenities, and a super sized flat screen TV. Upon arrival we were greeted by the General Manager, who welcomed us and chatted with us about the property. When we check into our room, there was even a surprise waiting for us, acknowledging our wedding anniversary! The concierge and staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially with the link light rail, which was super easy to use. The parking at the hotel was very reasonable as well. They have a great sports bar, where we have gone in the past, but this was our first stay at this hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Nice hotel but location is not the best.
The hotel was fine but the location feels a bit remote. There are lots of homeless people in that area as well as abandon buildings. I would not feel safe walking around there at night. The proximity to many of the attraction is a bit too far.

Nice hotel, a little out of the way from downtown.
Parking was expensive, valet only, and they did slight damage to my vehicle. All other aspects of the hotel were great.

Solid hotel
If going to a game - perfect location. This is definitely a family hotel. I wouldn't rate it a 4.5 as advertised.

Wow! Great room and value!
View looked right into Safeco Field. Got to check in early. People were wonderful and the room new and clean. This is the perfect hotel to stay at for a Mariner or Seahawk game.

Quality hotel close to stadium
The hotel staff are welcoming and the room in good condition. This hotel is close to stadium and pioneer square. It takes 25 minutes to walk to downtown pike street market and its surround, that's safe during the day but I took taxi back at night, as don't feel as safe walking alone in areas surrounding hotel.

Just an overnight visit but it was very welcoming
I stayed the night on a quick trip. Management accommodated my request for a King bed vs two queens and also gave me a late checkout (although I didn't need it after all); very friendly, polite and professional

A convenient and comfortable hotel.
If you like to walk, you can get to several places, though it is not centrally located. It is perfect for sports fans, however. The shuttle is an excellent amenity, reliable with helpful and interesting drivers who encourage guests to enjoy Seattle to the fullest. The room was pleasant, clean, and quiet. Room service was exceptional.

Perfect place to stay for a concert!!
Perfect location!! We walked to our concert and watched the baseball game from the pool! There was a problem with our reservation date but Joe hooked us up with a great room so we weren't out in the cold. Room was great, rooftop pool was great, concierge was great! I'd stay there again any chance I got.

Not a four star property.
While the rooms are spacious and modern, the property is NOT a 4 star hotel. The location by the stadiums is a bit shady, and the rooms that front onto Alaskan Way are subject to relentless traffic noise associated with both the highway and the container cargo facility across the street and the odd train. Holiday Inn has better linens. Staff at the front desk and parking aren't very interested in guests.

great shuttle and rooftop hot tub!
We stayed at the Silver Cloud Hotel because it was the mystery hotel deal and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is a little far, but they did have a shuttle to the main areas that made it pretty convenient. If you are going to Seattle for a football or baseball game, this would be a great place to stay to be in the heart of all the action. The room was clean, huge TV, great Aveda bath products.

Great place to stay - perfect location
The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The location is perfect - two blocks from the Light rail (which traverses the city) and in between Safeco Field (Mariners baseball) and CenturyLink Field (Seahawks football). The hotel also provides free shuttle service to the four major entertainment/shopping districts in the city. Our room was clean and well maintained and the roof top hot tub and pool are not to be missed. When we go back to Seattle we will definitely stay here again.
