The good: very new and clean room. Bed was comfy. As shown. Good imendities. Parking was reasonable and safe.
The bad: there is no lobby and the check-in process was cumbersome. I booked and then never received an email with instructions. Called on arrival and was difficult to communicate with representative and took 30+ minutes to get into room after being hung up on and passed around to 2 people.
Then on the first night upon arriving after dinner the code to enter room did it work and we were stranded on the street in Gastown for another 15 minutes trying contact hotel
Im sure they will figure all this out but we got lucky we had phones with signal and coverage or we would have been sleeping on the street.
Gastown is cool and the hotel is right on the border. Anything west feels safe, anything (like 1 block) east is very sketchy and not safe feeling. Just a heads up.
