If I could give a 0-star review, I would. The staff/owner of the place treated us COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATELY and made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. We left after 1 night.
We were three young women. We had to wait over 30 minutes to be let in when we arrived, and the owner was frustrated that we had arrived a bit earlier than the time we had told him. The check-in process took really long. He spoke to us very condescendingly and passive aggressively, and even made fun of our friend right in front of us. We were not given the room we had booked (we had booked a room with 3 beds, and he gave us a room with 2 beds). He kept claiming that they don’t even have rooms with 3 beds, even though my booking confirmation clearly showed that I had booked a room with 3 beds.
The room was superficially clean: hair on the bedsheets and coffee mugs were dirty. The room had no sound insulation so we could hear everything in the lobby and the staff in the lobby could hear everything in our room. We had no privacy.
The last straw was the next morning when the owner (an older man) unlocked our door and walked into our room while we were still in bed! I jumped up in a panic and sternly asked him what he was doing. Unapologetically, he just said he needed to ask us if we wanted room cleaning (which is NO EXCUSE for walking in). He did not apologize at all for walking into our room without consent.
We spent the entire day finding another hotel that day.
