I stayed in a balcony maisonette room and very much enjoyed my morning coffee or late afternoon Beerlao overlooking the Mekong and the quaint street below. The free breakfast on the hotel's terrace is very good, and the added convenience of having breakfast any time of day is great if you set off early in the morning for an excursion.
