The shower in our assigned room flooded the entire bathroom when used. I had a WhatsApp discussion with Mr. Bill (owner or manager). He was quite willing to be apologetic but no more than words. I'm quite unhappy since he assigned us to a room that he knew had problems and then after delays assigned us to what is probably the worst room in the guest house.
The specific timeline:
Day 1 - the shower is covering the entire bathroom floor with water when used. I message him and eventually get a response that he can't do anything because he is out to dinner. Maybe we should have moved out at this point, but I wanted to give him a chance.
Day 2 - the next morning he says that he knows about the problem but can't fix it and no alternate room is available until the following day.
Day 3 - we are moved into the room next to the breakfast area where we get to hear cooking and conversation starting early in the morning. The shower in this room only gets half the floor wet if we lay down some towels.
Day 4 - seems to late to go to another place.
The only saving grace for this place was breakfast which was nicely prepared and pleasantly served.
