El Tropico Boutique Hotel
"Lovely hotel and staff"
Harmony Villas Lombok
"Great location, Great pool. Too much light coming in from other villas. All walls are windows with blockout curtains but with outside lights on tops too bright like daytime. The property needs to turn exterior lights off at 9pm. The music from the shack restaurant next door too loud, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You definitely need earplugs. But location ideal and the villas are nice."
The Konkret Lombok
"Just all around hood property. Clean, everything worked as it should. Great experience all round."
Novotel Lombok Resort and Villas
"It was lovely, quiet. Peaceful, very relaxing. Food was Ok, could have more options."
Sima Hotel Kuta Lombok
"The rooms are a good size, the sink and shower was full of mould which was unpleasant. When I told management they didn’t offer to change my room. They tried to clean the mould but it didn’t help so I asked again and this time they changed the seals. The staff were amazing, friendly, warm and made the effort to make my stay amazing. Great location in the heart of Kuta"
Origin Lombok
"Hotel Origin was a really great place to stay.We had a couple rooms overlooking the pool which was lovely. The room was spacious and included the shower and toilet.Breakfast is included with a variety of pastries, toast, pancakes,French toast as well as eggs of your choice will be cooked for you.Indonesian food is also available for breakfast such as chicken and rice etc The staff are delightful, so friendly and very accommodating. We would often stop and chat with them during the day .The only negative was after our rooms were cleaned they smelt of body odour which tended to linger ."
Somewhere Lombok
"Somewhere was the perfect four night stay at the end of our honeymoon. It’s quite boutique, so peaceful and the panoramic setting is quite unique and special. The architecture, fit and finish is well considered and everything felt curated to perfection. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole experience felt personal. The curated menu offers just the right variety, as well as being some of the best food we’ve experienced in Indonesia. Compliments to the chef, particularly for the beef rendang, lobster special, vegetable fritters and the tuna open sandwich. The small bar area is a great place to hang out and the cocktails and craft beers are excellent. The head barman, ‘Rakka’ was great and became a friendly face during our stay. The location is over a secluded bay about 15 minutes from the centre of Kuta. The hotel offers a regular shuttle and sorted a scooter rental for us, which was added to the bill. We’re sad to be leaving, but hope to be back. I can see this place becoming a home from home."

This budget-friendly destination is great value for money and is perfect for travellers on a budget.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best hotel deals in Kuta when prices drop or rooms become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Kuta hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels can offer a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we may suggest more affordable dates that could help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Kuta's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
