King Charles Hotel

8/10 Good
"Hotel and room were clean, and staff were good, but there was no air conditioning anywhere, in the rooms or the restaurant. They just relied on floor fans. Really not good with the summer we've had. Plenty of parking spaces, but no EV charge points."

Hampton by Hilton Ashford International

Hampton by Hilton Ashford International

10/10 Excellent
"Very nice room, aircon worked extremely well, had to turn it down a bit despite staying over on one of the heatwave nights. Staff were excellent, and breakfast was nice as well. Only thing to mention was the lack of parking availability. Whilst I booked my parking spot well in advance, it was clear they filled up very quickly, and weren't enough spaces for guests. There were EV chargers as well, which were all working and easy to use, but once the car was charged, there was no space to move it to a regular parking spot, so the hotel staff told me to just leave it there overnight, blocking someone else from potentially using it - not ideal for a Hilton. Overall though, excellent, would definitely stay again."

ABode Canterbury

ABode Canterbury

10/10 Excellent
"I grew up in Canterbury and while I live in New York, I visit many times a year to see friends and family and have stayed at many different hotels but after staying here a few years ago, I look nowhere else. It’s central location is second to none, the ornate and wonderfully maintained interior character of the lobby, stairways, bar, restaurant, hallways and of course the rooms is meticulous. From the front desk to the house keeping staff, everyone is extremely helpful, courteous and polite with a professionalism they clearly take pride in upholding. The rooms are always very clean, wonderfully decorated, very comfortable and provide all the amenities you could want when traveling. I have stayed here through freezing cold winters and blisteringly hot summers yet the rooms never fail to efficiently maintain an exceptionally comfortable temperature. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough, and very much look forward to my next visit in a few weeks!"

The Inn on the Lake Hotel

The Inn on the Lake Hotel

8/10 Good
"It’s a bit of a mixed bag, the hotel has such a great setting on the lakeside and was great for a meal and drink in the sunshine. Inside however the rooms are clean but very tired and dated. We booked a Bridal room which had a four poster bed that was very small and made some very loud noises if you moved or turned over while sleeping, not particularly romantic. The decor is dated and the bathroom was well past its best. We had a meal on the terrace which was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very busy with orders for hot food taken at the table however on the second day no one came to ask if we wanted anything from the cooked menu so I had toast. Given the price it’s decent value for money and we would book again but with a proper bed."

Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable stay in a Sittingbourne hotel. If you're after something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could lead to a more economical option.
  4. Consider your location: Staying close to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a heftier price tag. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing cost with accessibility to the places you plan to visit. You might also explore independent hotels situated further afield, which generally tend to be cheaper while providing a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
