Top neighborhoods in Beverly Hills

Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle brings all the Beverly Hills glitz with Rodeo Drive's designer boutiques lining pristine palm-dotted streets. Spot celebrities ducking into Gucci and Louis Vuitton or admire the European-inspired cobblestone walkways of Two Rodeo. The Paley Center for Media offers a fascinating glimpse into entertainment history, while nearby Beverly Gardens Park provides a peaceful green escape. Upscale restaurants and sophisticated hotel bars dominate the dining scene, with reservations highly recommended for dinner spots. While public transit is limited, the compact luxury corridor is perfectly walkable with valet parking available throughout. Most visitors choose five-star accommodations like the historic Beverly Wilshire Hotel to complete their high-end Beverly Hills experience.

The Flats

The Flats showcases Beverly Hills living at its most magnificent, with tree-lined streets hosting architectural masterpieces and manicured gardens. Stroll past palatial estates on Maple Drive where perfect landscaping and grand facades make for an impressive walking tour. Visitors can check out quirky Spadena House (the famous "Witch's House") and the beautiful Good Shepherd Catholic Church while soaking in the peaceful residential vibes. No need for a car in this walkable neighborhood with its wide, pristine sidewalks perfect for leisurely exploration. While The Flats itself has minimal dining options, upscale restaurants await just minutes away on Canon Drive. For shoppers, world-famous Rodeo Drive sits tantalizingly close, offering window-shopping that won't cost a penny.

Trousdale Estates

Trousdale Estates showcases Beverly Hills' most stunning mid-century modern architecture with its clean lines and panoramic city views. Celebrity-owned mansions line winding streets where architectural tours offer glimpses of homes designed by legends like Richard Neutra and Wallace Neff. This exclusive hillside enclave provides a peaceful escape from urban Los Angeles while keeping you close to the action. You won't find shops or restaurants within this residential sanctuary—you'll need to venture to nearby Rodeo Drive for luxury shopping. A car is essential for navigating the steep terrain, with most attractions just a quick 10-minute drive away. When you're ready to splurge, luxury vacation rentals offer private pools and stunning views.

South of Wilshire

Beverly Hills's South of Wilshire neighborhood is home to attractions such as Wilshire Boulevard and South Beverly Drive.

Beverly Crest

The Beverly Crest neighborhood offers attractions such as Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and Virginia Robinson Gardens.

This amazing dessert was served in a fishbowl, just like the other five courses. Inside was a crème Chiboust with sour red current jelly, almond praline, rice crackers and orange blossom bubbles. Topping it off was a disc of shaved ice infused with redwood stems. Pretty imaginative and incredible tasty.

A fairly new recreation with the original dating to the early 1900s, this Beverly Hills sign and lily pond is a popular photo spot. It's within walking distance of Rodeo Drive and I think less ubiquitous than the shield. The garden is also pleasant to walk through.
