Improvisation required
Location is great. It's walking distance to all the key places in Beverly Hills. Property has been renovated nicely but I think the service has not. We requested larger sized bathrobe which was addressed after some calls with duty manager who originally claimed that it didn't exist. Few errors on room cleaning was addressed to another duty manager who was so rude on the phone that I wondered whether I am staying at Motel6. General Manager was contacted and she gracefully corrected all the matters. At the check out, bill was done incorrectly which I had to address again after departure due to the front desk not even providing me with details to check. In general, staff were quite busy chatting with each other and minding their business than attending to the guest and what they may require. It may be some cultural differences with California being somewhat casual culture in comparison to (say) Europe or elsewhere,,, but I don't think that's a good enough reason to see these inconsistencies at this historic and premier property.
Guests come to Four Seasons properties to be impressed and revisit again. This one unfortunately didn't provide this during this visit. As a frequent and loving guests of Four Seasons properties, I hope that hotel can take this criticism positively and I look forward to see further improvisation on the services in the near future.
