Conrad Hangzhou
"Very modern yet comfortable hotel. Great views from all rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff were fantastic. Centrally based near to all exclusive shopping areas."
Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou
"Convenient location"
Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake
"Everything was perfect - location, room size, cleanliness, service. Short walk to westlake and we took a stroll to in77 shopping area. Before our rooms are ready, they have driver sending and picking us to nearby areas. The driver is very kind in recommending local food places for us (e.g. longjing restaurant main branch, 奎元馆) which is cheap and good and locals visited. Even after check in, if driver is available, also help to send us to dinner and pick us up after dinner, bringing us nearby shops to get something we needed. Driver also recommended us good places for massage. Concierge was also very friendly, with good memories as they keep track of our parcels when we were out for sightseeing. Although room is a bit old fashioned, but it’s clean and beds are comfortable. Thumbs up for everything."
The Silk Lakehouse, Shangri-La Hangzhou
"The property was emaculate and the entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend."
Zheda Yuanzheng Lanshe Hotel
"위치 너무 좋아요 바로앞이 유명한 남송어가와 번화가입니다 3인실도 넓고 직원도 친절해요. 세탁기는. 공용 무료인데 1대라 좀 치열합니다"
Shangri-La Hangzhou
"The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders stayed at, one may feel he/she is reliving the history here. Love the lotuses in the lobby by the way, very summery."
JW Marriott Hotel Hangzhou
"no comments to be added. Thanks."

A stay of at least 3 to 4 days provides great value for money, allowing visitors to explore key landmarks, history and cultural attractions such as the lake, temples, sightseeing opportunities, natural parks, museums, monuments, tours, mountain, and gardens. This period is ideal for those seeking a budget-friendly holiday that combines affordability with the rich cultural heritage of the region.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers travellers a chance to explore great hotel deals in Hangzhou by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section, where you may discover discounted rates for hotels near your travel date. For those seeking last-minute escapes, the Last-Minute Deals section could reveal enticing offers, while the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities. By enabling alerts, you’re more likely to see flash sales and special promotions, keeping you updated on any changes in availability.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Hangzhou hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised service and occasionally offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the cost appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more appealing option.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Hangzhou's outstanding public transport system, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those eager to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
