Domaine de Haslach, The Originals Collection, is a beautifully renovated historic estate situated on a scenic, south-facing hillside in Alsace. While the property makes an impressive first impression, a closer look reveals operational gaps for international travelers. Our "Superior Mountain View Apartment" was spacious with excellent vistas, but the layout was impractical: the separate toilet room lacked hand soap and towel hooks, the double bed featured uncomfortable high pillows with a single double duvet, and low-frequency ventilation hums were loud at some times. Housekeeping was entirely absent during our week-long stay, leaving us without waste removal or towel changes, which was unexpected for a premium resort. Dining options were similarly limited; the restaurant lacked English or German menus, and advertised room service consisted only of basic bakery items or a single evening dish, which is tough when traveling with small children. Furthermore, language barriers persisted as almost all signage and instructions were strictly in French. The staff were polite, though the hotel director reprimanded us for using an indoor basement corridor to access the spa, despite a lack of restrictive signage. The wellness facilities are excellent, but the 9-hour daily opening window is too restrictive, the communal shower layout requires better signage. Additionally, access to the beautiful surrounding forests remains ambiguous due to untranslated "No Entry" signs.

Wir haben für 10 Tage gebucht und waren froh den Aufpreis für das Zimmer mit Balkon genommen zu haben. Sehr schöne Aussicht, super grosszügiges und schön ausgestattetes Zimmer, schöne Beleuchtung, für Grundbedürfnisse gut eingerichtete Küche mit Geschirrspüler. Das Restaurant ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet mit vielen Holz-Elementen, Echtholztischen und einer schalldämmenden Decke, sodass eine angenehme Atmosphäre entsteht, auch wenn die Tische gut besetzt sind. Leider sind nur drei unterscheidliche aber auch sehr leckere Menues auf der Karte, sodass man sich nach drei Tagen auf der Karte „durchgegessen“ hat. Ab dem vierten Tag muss man wiederholen. Zu Fuss ist ein anderes Restaurant nur in ca. 30 bis 45 Minuten erreichbar und im Dunkeln möchte man dann auch nicht zurück laufen. Somit haben wir dann die Küche im Zimmer genutzt. Das Frühstück ist lecker jedoch etwas übersichtlich, aber es ist alles da was man braucht. Auch der Wellness-Bereich ist super schön, sauber gepflegt (Schwimmbecken, Sprudelliege/Sitze, schöner Ruheraum, Dampfbad und Sauna 80-90 Grad). Es werden verschiedene Massagen angeboten, ich habe die 90Min. Massage zweimal genossen. Die Masseuse hat das super gut gemacht - kräftig, sehr entspannend und einer Lomi-Lomi Massage ähnlich. Der Massage-Bereich ist noch im Bau und sollte diesen Winter (2026) fertig werden. Die Massage fand in einem Provisorischen kleinen Raum mit stimmiger Beleuchtung und Musik statt. Das war für mich total in Ordnung.

grosse, sehr saubere Zimmer Küche tadellos und es ist alles dabei was man braucht hilfreiches und sehr freundliches Personal Wir hatten zwar das Zimmer mit Waldsicht, hedoch ist die Aussichte nach vorne herraus wunderschön. Tolle Terrasse zum verweilen, was trinken oder zum Frühstücken Einziger Manko: das Frühstücksbuffet war meiner Meinung nach für die Hotelklasse viel zu mikrig. Aber das ist auch das einzige was ich zu beanstanden habe. ;)

Das Zimmer war neu und schön eingerichtet. Besonders hat uns die Aussicht und die Ruhe an diesem Ort gefallen. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war etwas gestresst und hektisch, weil sie vermutlich unterbesetzt waren für die vielen Tische.
