It was better than we expected, we went to The Underground Caves, The Justice Museum and Nottingham Castle. Shopping is brilliant both town centre and the Victoria Shopping Centre which is massive. Airport to City bus was £2, loads of restaurants.

Our second time staying overnight in the city and the more we see the more we like. Transport into the centre is easy, good car park options, excellent tram service and plenty of quality shops, bars, restaurants and attractions.

Reason for the visit was to see Bob Dylan at the Motopoint arena, which was an excellent venue. Plenty of shops plus lots of bars and restaurants. We did a walking tour which was great, there is a lot of history in the town.

It is a great and unique experience to visit the Old Trip To Jerusalem pub, beneath Nottingham castle rock, as it is half in a cave - if you can squash in!

"Had a good stay - room was on small side, but to be expected from price. It was nice and clean and quiet. slept really well. Would be happy to stay again"
"Stayed in this hotel a couple of times. The position couldn’t be better just 5 mins walk to St Peter’s square and other town centre shops, got plenty of pubs and eating places on door step and the train station is less than 10 mins walk. Hotel isn’t anything fancy but is clean and confy"
"Perfect stay with friends.
Only bad thing is you’re in the lift for 30 minutes waiting to go down as it constantly jumps up and down floors.
But the room was lovely, staff friendly and only £10 to check in early!"
"I am the sort of person who regularly frequents other chain hotels, in particular, the usually cheaper purple one. I must say i think hilton will he a top choice for me in the future. For a very similar price to my usual option, EVERYTHING was so much better. Room was cleaner, facilities weee so much better and thank goodness for air con. The area gets a little noisy on a night time, the parking was a bit difficult to find, but staff were helpful in guiding me there on the phone. Breakfast was nice, the gym was good, the walls in the pool could perhaps do with a clean, but other than that, i cant fault it. Will definitely be staying again! "
