Great location, but be prepared to walk up many stairs with luggage. No lift. Beautiful location among trees, central to shopping, main piazza, and beach clubs. You can see the sun every afternoon as it shines into your bathroom. Loved the bathroom and the window view.

The room was in a beautiful historic building. Partially apartment and partially rented as hotel rooms. Our room was very clean and quiet. We had a late check in. We had to communicate with the property manager and he met us at the apartment upon arrival. Was very communicative the whole time.

First, the bad. The website suggests that rooms are on the second floor. It was 66 steps up with no elevator making it more like a 4th floor. A tough hike especially after walking around Sorrento. The good….Marco was a great host. The hotel is clean and in a great location, one block from the main piazza in Sorrento. The hotel has some history and is quite a spectacle in itself. Rooms were nice. Small refrigerators in each room. Some with nice balconies. One even had a piano. All great if you can tolerate the stairs up and down.

Casa Enzina is an excellent choice for independent travelers. First, location: it is a 5 minute walk from the Sorrento railway station and is about the same distance from the town's main street (Corso d'Italia). It is a guesthouse, not a hotel: Marco (the host) let us into the apartment when we arrived and explained the kitchen and laundry. Throughout our stay, I communicated with Marco via WhatsApp, and he was unfailingly responsive and helpful. The building itself is a very grand palazzo (probably dating to the early 19th century) that overlooks a spectacular ravine. The apartment was spacious and light, with a beautiful view across a garden. The climate-control worked beautifully. In sum, I recommend Casa Enzina unreservedly, and am already thinking about staying there again next year. (Note: the only reason I awarded just 4 stars in one category is that the washing machine wasn't working properly when we arrived; this caused minor inconvenience, but it was fixed by the end of the next day.)

I had an amazing stay at Casa Enzina. Mariangela greeted me at the door when I arrived in town, even before the check in time. She and her staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay and went above and beyond. The room was beautiful, with high ceilings and beautifully designed. The building is gorgeous, on top of the hill, very close walking distance to the main centre. Very clean. I will definitely be returning!

Very close to Piazza Tasso. Within a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of Sorrento. Very cool old building with new updated utilities. Giuseppe was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Nice and quiet at night. I would recommend if staying in Sorrento.

We loved our stay here. It is located in a central station, a few mins away from everything. Mariangela was responsive and very helpful. She provided some tips for restaurants, events, buses and ferries and they were all spot on! The room was very clean and nice. If you require accessibility the room is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. We would definitely stay here again.
