Learn more about Camogli

Pastel-painted houses cling to the hillside above a harbor where fishing boats still outnumber yachts. The scent of fresh focaccia mingles with salt air along the promenade where locals gather for evening passeggiata. Brave the steep staircases between buildings for rewarding views across the Golfo Paradiso. The tiny beach fills with Italian families in summer, their animated conversations providing free entertainment. Take a boat to San Fruttuoso Abbey, tucked into a cove accessible only by sea or challenging hike. Order the catch of the day at harbor restaurants where fishermen delivered it hours earlier. Save room for gelato while watching sunset paint the Mediterranean gold from the medieval castle that once protected this authentic slice of Ligurian life.

8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a great location. However, it needs some updating. The biggest thing is the elevator needs to be updated!!!! My sister and I got stuck inside which was a traumatic situation. It stopped and the doors opened half way then the doors got stuck and it would not move once the doors closed. The staff acted like this happens all the time. It was extremely hot and no air and a frightening experience. Other guests were complaining about the elevator to deaf ears. It might be a good idea to update the breakfast with a bit more options. The rest of the stay was good."

"Great stay - staff were really lovely and breakfast was delicious! Excellent air con and spacious rooms. The only downside was the fridge was loud in the rooms at night and we were on the 4th floor and the staff on the roof woke us up a few nights moving the chairs and tables around on the terrace."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for discovering the town's key landmarks and cultural attractions, including its beach, sea, sunsets, and opportunities for sightseeing, boating, and enjoying cocktails. This period offers great value for money while allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Camogli's rich history and culture.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers travellers the chance to uncover attractive hotel deal opportunities in Camogli. Start by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section to explore options, and check the Last-Minute Deals area for discounted hotels near your travel date. You may also find that enabling email alerts or push notifications keeps you informed about flash sales. Moreover, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app lets you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to spot opportunities to book a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Camogli hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the cost is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to more economical options.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a steeper price tag. For those seeking more economical options, you might consider staying in less central areas or neighbourhoods, which can strike a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. Additionally, exploring independent hotels located a bit further out may offer a more genuine and budget-friendly experience.
