Crowne Plaza Bandung by IHG
"We’re very happy with the hotel and the entire team. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of both Indonesian and Western food options. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to others."
Oakwood Merdeka Bandung
"Quiet location, with a mart close by."
Courtyard by Marriott Bandung Dago
"Room was spacious and clean. Liked the small cushions at the sofa. The space for luggage bag is at the corner (hence not very convenient) and that area is quite dark. The sockets are good, no need to use travel adaptor. Had a pleasant surprise birthday card and towel deco from housekeeping Yuni. The toilet flush is quite weak and the toilet paper is very thin. The flush button is too low and too close to the bidet. Didn't like the hand held shower head, it's the type where it's not flexible and adjustable. Liked that the shower area has corner space for own toiletries. Breakfast has good variety. I had a surprise cake for my birthday. But the seating arrangement is not good, all tables cater for 4 pax, so solo traveler like me ended up at the high chair table and I knocked on the table a few times. Location although it's central, it's very hard to walk to nearby mall with the crazy traffic and useless traffic lights. And since I had food vouchers, I had my dinner most of the time at the hotel restaurant. Menu is a little limited, it would be good if there's more choices."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bandung
- Book for the cheapest times: The most economical period to travel to Bandung is between March and May, when hotels tend to offer lower prices. For an enriching experience that encompasses the city's landmarks, history and culture – including attractions such as volcanoes, the university, cultural sites, coffee heritage, musicals, recreational spots, theme parks, forests, archaeological sites and hotsprings – a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This budget-friendly option is great value for money and ideal for visitors planning to explore on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of opportunities to save when booking a trip to Bandung. You may discover attractive options by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section, where discounted rates are available. For those planning last-minute trips, the Last-Minute Deals section could be particularly useful, offering reduced rates on hotels near your travel date. Additionally, the app’s Smart Shopping tool enables you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see favourable options if prices drop or rooms become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a Bandung hotel. For travellers seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and might offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average and may suggest more affordable dates if the price is on the higher side, potentially helping you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, given Bandung's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic, budget-friendly experience.
