Maui Coast Hotel
"The staff are the best. I needed extra pillows and blankets and they arrived super fast. We also needed a wine bottle opener and that arrived within 10 mins. Everyone is super friendly and kind. The room I stayed in was a little rundown, but it was clean. The pools were really nice. I think overall the service at this hotel is above most. We had moved from another hotel, and the same pillow request took 90 mins. I would stay again."
Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui
"Everything was excellent. Three pools, all a little different from one anther (slides, family, and adult). The arcade was a big hit for our kids during some down time. Views from our sundeck room were top notch. Overall, our family had a great time."
Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort
"It was great"
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas
"Great hotel. Clean, spacious and pools were excellent. Location is great with most restaurants and beaches within 15 minutes. Overall great stay."
Residence Inn by Marriott Maui Wailea
"This resort was wonderful! The continental breakfast was perfect! Lots of rotating options throughout our stay. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The pool area was very clean and comfortable. The property is within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The resort was near the beach - you could walk or take the free shuttle."
AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea
"Great location and pool!"
Mana Kai Maui- Official Onsite Rental
"Property was great. Beach does get really busy. Would stay there again"
Maui Sunset
"First time at Maui Sunset with my family, we had great time at this place, very comfortable, beach very close, best place to see the sunset. The condo was beautiful, good size, but it wasn't very clean, bathroom need cleaning, and more areas too. Also the ironing board is old and broken; it was very difficult to iron my clothes."
Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort - a concept by Hyatt
"Beach by the hotel is walking distance only. Beautiful infinity water fall pools. Lots of amenity and amazing restaurants one stop shop. The only thing that I didn’t really like is the hotel was a little bit small for the price that I’m paying."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kihei
- Book for the cheapest times: For a budget-friendly visit to Kihei, consider planning your trip between September and November, when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. A stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended for exploring the key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, including the beach, sunsets, snorkeling spots, islands, sea views, swimming areas, charming cafes, surfing spots, dining experiences, and relaxing locales. This period offers great value for money and is perfect for those seeking an affordable getaway on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: If you're planning a trip to Kihei, you may discover hotel deals by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where discounted hotel stays close to your travel date could be found. To receive updates on flash sales and special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications. Additionally, you can use the Smart Shopping tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you are more likely to see the best options should room availability or rates change.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Kihei hotel. For those interested in distinctive accommodation, boutique hotels can offer a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Kihei's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel a little further afield that is still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
