Horrible
Overall terrible. When we checked in the front desk was extremely slow in checking us in. Making me sign electronically on computer without explaining or telling me what I was signing. There was a resort fee to use facilities Such as Fitness center which was not open due to renovations, laundry machines which required additional payment, etc and on the resort fee there was tax. It also didn’t match the bill on my hotels.com confirmation. I had to pay extra. We were required to pay for parking but had to park further away due to renovations in parking lot. When we get to the room it was not as shown in photos during booking. Not renovated. Doesn’t have big bathrooms. There was mold on our ceiling in room, mold on shower head. Looked like hasn’t been cleaned since the hotel opened and lastly it was very loud from hallways. No insulation whatsoever. I do not recommend this place based on charges and cost.

Maui Beach Hotel was disappointing to say the least. The carpet and furniture was old and stained. Although we arrived at 10 PM and left the next morning we were still charged the daily resort fee. That was even more difficult to swallow given the fact we were too late to use their shuttle as it stops running at 9:45 PM. Not sure how it compares to others in their price category, however for how much they charge I would recommend going elsewhere.

Near the airport. Basic hotel.
Decent little, older hotel by the airport. Small, expensive rooms compared to a typical hotel, but it’s Maui and it’s on a little beach on the water near the airport. I specified that we would be bringing three people when I reserved the ‘king suite’ and the room had a king bed and no couch so I had to order a rollaway and pay an extra fee in addition to an ‘extra guest’ fee that was paid when I reserved the room. It was a tight squeeze but for one night we made it work. I would stay again if I needed a night after a late airport arrival (or before an early morning departure) but not with three people in the king room ocean view :)

Not a good experience
They incorrectly checked somebody else to our room hours before our arrival. When we were ready to check in, they of course couldn't find us. After half an hour of scrambling, they sent us to the room which was already occupied by the wrong person. What a horrifying scene.... The hotel is dated and room not very clean. Other people's hair was still left in the bathroom. area.

great stay but paying for parking
overall our stay was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. check in and out super quick. room was great and clean. bed was ok, it sunk a little in the middle. view and beach awesome. the only thing I wasn't happy with is paying to park at the hotel. $15.00 a night isn't right to stay parked were I already paid a lot to stay at. other than that I was happy with our stay.
