Pleasant overall, needs air con and improvements
We enjoyed our stay overall. The place was clean and quiet at night, the swimming pools were good. The accom was clean and facilities provided were good (incl cleaning kit). Good car parking available and a pleasant stroll to the Port through the golf course and lake. However, there are several important areas requiring improvement: - Air conditioning does not exist. We had to leave the door and windows fully open at night which is unfair. While air con may be expensive to install, P&V should provide silent fans for the bedrooms and living area. - Our accommodation (2 bed apartment) was located at the golf club. P&V tried to contact us on the day of arrival to advise but we were travelling and did not receive that notification. Reception was closed for lunch when we arrived. The directions provided were unclear. This caused us a lot of unnecessary hassle when we arrived which could have been prevented. - Requests for an early check-in should be accommodated (for no additional cost) during low season. Occupancy was low where we were staying. - Wifi access did not work (at Bourgenay golf club where we were staying). - The water slide should be operating at the end of June. - The kids play area needs major modernisation. The crazy golf is dated and the playground isn't fit for purpose. - The exterior common areas of the P&V Bourgenay accommodation would benefit from a lick of paint - alot of peeling paint on corridors.

Vacances de 3 jours en Vendée fin Mai 2024. La réception a été parfaite, la remise des clefs et l'installation très rapide. La maison était bien équipée et le site était calme. Le site est un peu éloigné de l'océan, c'est le seul point notable.

Un gros point en moins pour cela car c’est aussi pour cette prestation que je venais dans cet établissement avec mes petits enfants qui ont eu bien du mal à se baigner. Beau cadre. Petite maison dans un environnement champêtre. Activités sur place : piscine, mini aire de jeux pour les petits, mini aire de jeux pour les plus grands, mini golf. À proximité du port et du village (environ 20 minutes de marche avec un enfant de 3 ans). Matériel domestique pas extraordinaire : manches des balais se pliant à l’utilisation, manches des marmites et poêles se détachant, mini serpillière… Finalement pas mal en rapport qualité -prix.
