The hotel is very nice and in an excellent, highly walkable location. The breakfast was fantastic! Both the views and the food were memorable. There are a lot of stairs to get to some of the rooms, so if you need easy access, be sure to mention that.

Excellent hotel in a great location overlooking the Thames . The bed was super comfortable with a spacious bedroom and bathroom and a lovely shower . We loved the Brasserie for breakfast and an evening meal , one of the nicest dining/bar areas I’ve come across in a hotel . The staff were very friendly and helpful , a credit to the establishment . The only slight negative in the bedroom was a fan running most of the night , but it didn’t disturb our sleep too much . The parking option was a great plus , with parking available at the train stations car park , with reserved spaces for the hotel’s guest at a rate of £15 a day .

Fantastic location, castle and town centre were a five minute walk,the Thames was your doorstep,beautiful hotel very well presented,staff were second to none.....amazing. Great choice on breakfast, one of the best. One small hiccup with a special request, but it was dealt with in a very polite & professional manner and resolved quickly....we're all human. Would I stay here again........you bet, we'll impressed. Extremely well done to the Sir Christopher Wren 👏 👏 👏

Allocated room 405 although clean with a tidy bathroom the position of the room was not good. The room is on the ground floor in a thoroughfare leading to other parts of the hotel. Room was very dark with the windows facing onto the thorough fare. Meaning if you opened the curtains other guests could see directly into the bedroom as they passed. There is no other view from the room. This room was more worthy of a 2 star not a 4 star. Breakfast was good staff were very friendly. We did not visit he bar.

We had two rooms and both were amazing with comfortable beds. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very tasty. It’s also a quick walk to the station that takes you to London. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed three nights at the hotel and found the location second to none! It is on the River Thames and was in the shadow of the castle. The rooms were exceptionally quite and spacious. The breakfasts were very good and the restaurant had nice choices for lunch, tea and dinner.

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly, courteous and welcoming staff. Our room was an Executive double which was a good size and well equipped. Fabulous rainfall shower. Bathrobes were provided. Dining room overlooking the Thames was lovely. Good food and lovely staff (Guldeep especially). All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a great location, very central.
