A nice choice outside of Vik
The Volcano Hotel was outside of Vik situated by itself. The room was very nice with heated bathroom floor. The quality of the stay was surprisingly really good after the first impression when driving up. It is a small hotel but everything inside was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was better than most places we stayed at.

Check-in was easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was a nice breakfast served every morning, the staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, the yard around the hotel made it easy to see the aurora borialis as the hotel is away from any commercial lights. We spent one night here during our visit to the South. Volcano Hotel is a really nice family run hotel, it’s in a very quiet location. Rooms are a decent size clean and comfortable. The owner are very nice and the food was really good!! Definitely would stay there again!
