This is a good place to sleep if you come for whale watching, and relatively well priced. Our room didn't have AC, but the restaurant and front desk employees were all very nice.

This was my second stay here, 16 years apart. The lodge is up above the town, easy to get to from the ferry if you're driving (or in my case bicycling). Room was basic, but clean and it was very nice to be able to open the second door leading directly outside for catching the breeze. Onsite restaurant was tasty and even without reservations, the hostess was able to seat me. Hoping it won't be another 16 years before my next visit.

Brier Island Lodge is a great place to stay on Brier island. Especially if you are doing an early morning whale watching tour, I highly recommend to stay at the island. Our room was very spacious and clean, we had access to the front with a small patio, but we could not move the chairs from the patio to adapt to the sun. The room was well equipped with a coffee maker, microwave and a fridge. The beds were good, and we had a sitting area as well. The views were amazing.

We enjoyed Briar Island very much. Our accommodations were nice, but the front desk staff was bad mouthing the cleaning staff to us and we found this to be unprofessional. Easy check in and check out. Nice view from our room and it was quiet and comfortable.

Lovely spot, with really charming rooms. Everything is clean but a bit dated. The outside decks with direct access are wonderful. The restaurant is amazing with homemade desserts, bread, and the best sausage patty I have ever eaten! The only drawback is no air conditioning and if you want it (which I didn't) - TV.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brier Island Lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had good food, although an included breakfast would have been good. We had only one issue - the hot/cold in our shower was erratic, but we where upgraded to a superior room in a newer section of the Lodge. Staff advised the lodge was addressing the issue. Unfortunately it was too foggy during our visit to see the ocean view from the hotel.
