"The hotel is in good condition and the reception is good. The room needs more storage space or shelves for luggage or belongings. The bathrooms lack of hooks or towel racks, and there's no place to dry clothes as we are near the beach. The breakfast is very acceptable."

"The apartmant was perfect. Clean, spacious . Close to the beach. My only issue was I havent seen any security cameras at the reception area and the cleaning staff often left the front door open for long periods to dry the floor. Unattended so anyone could have just gone inside I would stay again"

"Its a nice enough hotel, but even though it looks like its had a bit of paint and refurb the things like the elevator are a bit old and with noise coming from it a bit worrying, but its certified so will be good. Was supposed to have had water in the fridge but there wasn't any, asked and told cleaning would put it in the fridge next day, but it wasn't there the next day either, so went to the local supermarket and bought my own"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in El Risco

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit El Risco is during May, June, and September, when hotel prices are lower. For a comprehensive experience of the area's historical and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore key sites, such as the picturesque valley and beautiful beaches, ensuring great value for money while enjoying the rich heritage of El Risco. Prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal time for those travelling on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover discounted hotel options in El Risco, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find cheaper rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if availability changes or prices drop, you could be the first to know and secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may enable you to save on your stay at the El Risco hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you make a reservation through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest more economical dates to help you secure the best deal.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to strike a balance between cost and accessibility to the sights you wish to explore. You might also look into independent hotels situated a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
