Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre
"Comfortable hotel, internal view of several out of service air conditioning units was not very atmospheric. One day my room was not serviced and on my last morning I was interrupted several times by housekeeping long before checkout so felt rushed out"
Holiday Inn Express Bicester by IHG
"Need to fix the air conditioning… seems to have been 3+ months it hasn’t been wrling"
Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford
"Absolutely exceeded expectations"
ORIDA Hotels Newbury
"I had a restful long weekend at this hotel, staff were really lovely and helpful. Food was also nice and most of all the hotel was peaceful. Thank you everyone at Orida Hotel."
De Vere Cotswold Water Park
"Good facilities and amenities in the room, very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely, but lots of tables needed clearing during a busy time, with plates piling up on some tables"
Cotswolds Hotel & Spa
"Only improvement would be break"
The Store
"Rooms are very small."
Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel, but breakfast could be better We had an enjoyable stay at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa. The hotel was pleasant overall, and the room, cleanliness and staff were all good. We only used the swimming pool in the spa, which we enjoyed, although there weren’t enough loungers available. It seemed that some guests may have reserved them while having treatments, leaving nowhere for others to sit. The main disappointment was breakfast, which wasn’t quite the standard I expected from this type of hotel. The fried eggs looked as though they had been sitting out for hours and were hard, and the breakfast overall was underwhelming. Despite these issues, we had a good stay and would consider returning, although the spa seating and breakfast could definitely be improved."
Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa
"I had a really enjoyable experience here. The location was convenient, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was well organised. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better."

For travellers seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised service and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and often more affordable experience.
