"Everything stood out. Right from entering the place, to check in and to check out. A lot of the things they did was 5 star hotel for us. They took our luggage to our hotel room so when we came back to officially check in everything was in the room. The front reception was very welcoming and very helpful with everything. They even contacted JR West for me to help with retrieving my back pack that I left in the train. Facilities: We had our own coin operated wash and dry laundry at our level which you needed to book to use. So it was very convenient for us. There was also 3 coin operated laundry wash and dry by the reception desk that included a microwave room and more free toiletries. Money exchange machine by the reception as well. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of options and you can even have multiple flavoured ice cream along with it. Hotel Room The room was spacious enough for two. The bed was very comfortable. There were free toiletries too such as, comb, shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There’s a massage shop by the hotel entry door as well. Convenience Located right next to Nagano Station and bus stops to main attractions. You can also go to the station without going out of the hotel as level two has a connecting hall to the station. "Check in Staff- Ms Hiro.. She made the check in experience very wonderful.. she was really detailed with the breakfast & dinner booking. Definitely must go for the half board option! Dinner menu is the same in all our 4 nights stay.. Careful of the lady on 3/F guarding the Onsen, she is a little angry Grandma style.. but very necessary to ensure safety and order. "

"We took a junior suite as that was the only room with two beds available. It was big, had two double beds, and a sofa, plus a massage chair - much welcomed after a day's walking. Decor was dated but well maintained and functional. Only oddity was that there was no safety box in the room. Room was clean, staff - both front deskers and housekeeping were efficient and friendly. Ah yes, we could have additional pillows, and the choice between simmons and tempur. it was nice to sleep with four pillows for each of us. Don't know about breakfast as we didn't book that. "
