You idiots cancelled my booking TWO DAYS before i landed and you still haven't refunded me. Worst travel company ever. Worst hotel ever. Refund my money and stop sending me these ridiculous requests to rate my stay at a property that YOU CANCELLED!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and functional room. Amenities were good and just right for a hotel that is only being used as a base point before exploring Manhattan’s tourist venues.

The reserved room was not held for us and we given a dingy room in the basement of the hotel.

We found mice in the room, going into our bags. The hotel was able to change the room. Luckily during the busy season, they had a room availability. The hotel lobby had a peculiar smell and looked old and dirty. After checking in and looking at the bed, I thought it did not look clean enough.

The location is convenient. The description on the webpage is not accurate. It did not work for us and we left. It was an unnecessary expense.

I really liked that the property was within walking distance of several popular locations including Time Square and Rockerfeller Plaza. There are excellent food options just across the street from this hotel as well as a 7 Eleven and a drug store. It is a 7 minute walk to Penn Station. The front desk staff was pleasant. It was one of few hotels that had 2 queen size beds in the area for a reasonable price. The rooms are small but not unusual for a NYC hotel. There aren't many amenities at the hotel, but you are so close to everything it doesn't even matter. You can store your luggage at this hotel and they have a great check out time. I have no complaints. If I were to do another long weekend in NYC, I would definitely stay here again.

Small boutique hotel, off the beaten path but only a couple blocks to the subway station and Times Square. Staff helped to book limo service to the airport that was cheaper than Uber/Lyft. Beds were comfortable and cleaning staff did a great job. Our shower was slow to drain, but that was a small thing.

Like you are in the dorms.
The staff were lovely. We had a bunk bed room. The top sheets and blankets were folded at the foot of the bed so we had to make up our beds. The floor was bare concrete and every noise in the hall and rooms was amplified. The room was smaller than a cruise ship cabin, with no place to sit other than the beds, no closet and no place to put a suitcase other than the floor. The wall in the bathroom needed painting. The room was clean. There was free tea and coffee in the lobby. Not really worth the money we paid.

great location to times square, metro and theaters
The building is unique. It has an IKEA feel. It was a fabulous location! It was clean and the beds were good. My only issue was we reserved 2 full/queen bedroom and that is not what we got. We checked in around 10pm. At first they suggested are 21 yr old kid sleep on the floor for the 1st of 3 nights. Then she found a king and bunk bed room. She said we could move to a different room on the 2nd day, but we declined. The bunk bed and king room was fine. However, my anciety was high for about three minutes thinking about my kid having to sleep on the concrete floors (the rooms do not have carpet or laminate, just untreated concrete). But it all worked out in the end. Another perk, is it is across from a 7-11.

The lighting is very poor. The safe was sitting on the floor and was not secured to the wall and moved when you used it. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever.

Just a hidden jem in the heart of manhattan. Great personnel, location is prime. Room was small, but it was more than enough. It was clean, without any “hotel” smells you can feel at some hotels. I have already recommended this place to my friends who travel to NYC, and would come back here again myself. If you need just a good, convenient and basic place to stay while you explore the city or running your errands, look no further.

Dont do it
I will not stay here again nor recommend it. Cement floors???!! Ewww. And not like, finished, trying to look nice floors. No. Unfinished. Like someone tore up the carpet and left it. Who wants to take ur shoes off at night and walk on that?! Room was incredibly tiny. Not comfortable for a group of 4 on a girls trip. Literally tripped over each other. No where to put luggage. Lighting SUCKED. Digging through a bag or suitcase in a half dark room with ZERO space is not fun. Location was not great either. And no secure entry late at night. Oh, lol! And they had someone vacuuming the main lobby during check out time. The extremely tight, cramped lobby. When we were checking out we were 1 group of 3, clammoring each other, the vacuuming employee and the vacuum cord 🙄 I visit NYC atleast 5 times a year. You can definitely get better for the $$.

Totally fine for droping in for a night or two, the the property was very run down, everything was bumped and sratched. It was clean if you didn't look too closely. Large gaps under the doors, so it was a it loud. No housekeeping came, the air conditioning and the TV didn't really work, nor did the phone. Thankfully it wasn't too hot or too cold outside, but the lack of airflow was noticed, Shower was good, view was nice, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Again, by no means the worst place I've every stayed, and if it was cheaper it would be a steal, but it's pretty pricey for being this bare bones. The place needs a MAJOR facelift to be considered a boutique hotel.
