A beautiful, tidy and clean room. The staff are so, so helpful on check-in and let us leave our case at the property the next day whilst we were with our daughter at her college. The room has wi-fi and air-conditioning. The hotel is situated right in the city centre which is fantastic but at the weekend you have to allow for students partying. Would we stay agin? Yes indeed!

Very central and convenient location. Room was clean and everything worked, but the room was too small and furniture inadequate for setting up a functionable workspace.

6/10 Good

on the Plus side, the room was spotlessly clean, and had everything in it that I needed. The staff, when you could find them, were excellent. However, on the negative side there are 21 very narrow steps up to the rooms. Also, the street which has a lot of restaurants and cafés was extremely noisy. I was kept awake until past 1 AM on both nights. I was there. I would recommend this hotel if you are young and agile and go to bed late.

Clean and comfortable room, a couple of things we’re not as expected, toilet seat broken, floor tiles in bathroom cracked and temperamental shower.

Stayed one night with my two sons. Very convenient location, close to everything. They put in an extra bed for us. Good sized room and bathroom. No lift, as previously mentioned, but the staff were very helpful and carried our bags up and down. Excellent value and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location. Beautiful and comfortable room, if simple. Unobtrusive housekeeping. Minor issue with check-in but staff very helpful otherwise. Am definitely going to try and stay here again in future. Great value.

Pros - Very clean, air con excellent, staff superb and very central indeed! Lovely toiletries provided. Cons - Can hear outside noise but this was expected being so central and in a busy high street. Shower was very powerful and filled tray but it didn't cause an issue for us. Overall a good stay at this hotel.
