It's not worth the price
The bathroom had a terrible smell, but we talk to the guy at the front desk and he was able to accomodate us in another room, very nice guy. Overall it's not bad, the staff was good, but I found it too expensive for what you get. We stayed there for 2 nights and found another hotel for less than half the price for the third night and the room was almost the same as Yalta. It's not worth the price, I would pay $60 per night in Yalta not $120 as we did

Very Disappointed
The first and the inexcusable failing was that even though the room was priced at 2X peak season (i.e.: a Holiday premium) we were given an uninhabitable room. When our A/C failed on the first night it became obvious that morning that it wasn’t just bad luck. The repair crew, with a replacement unit, was waiting at our door in the morning before we could even register a complaint.
The management of Yalta’s knew that the room was deficient and accepted prepayment at a premium rate for both nights. No apologies for a problem, no offer of a discount for the night without A/C, only please move to another room while yours is repaired! Inexcusable!
Beyond that matter, the hotel was reasonably new but already suffering from a lack of management. In summary: 1) Rooms were clean but there was no hot water and shaky plumbing overall; 2) the Wi-Fi/internet was intermittent to the point of being unusable. 3) furnishings were Spartan at best with nice built in cupboard and drawers but only the required number of beds, a nightstand, and a lamp; 4) no-one on staff had even basic language skills beyond Spanish and, apparently, no training in the hospitality industry.
What I have described is a standard budget hotel offering and this all that anyone should pay for or expect from the Yalta’s Hotel. Pay no premiums above an on-season rate and expect nothing more.

8/10 Very Good

Well...... Very nice room for the area. The young clerk was very nice once we got the proper price worked out. Don't expect any hot water, or consistent water for that matter either. The room had AC which was nice except when the power was out. It was one of the nicer more modern hotels in the area in the beach front.
