Love this place! It’s is full of charm, welcoming, comfortable, and right next to the old west town and within about 30 min to West Joshua Tree gate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The canteen is stocked with coffee, tea, and water. Will absolutely stay here again.

This was most definitely a gem. I was looking for a trip to plan for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both fell in love with the place the moment we entered the lot! My boyfriend and I were so impressed by the western shops/saloons, restaurants, and more. It felt like we went back in time to the Old West. The hospitality was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. We will be back next year for my boyfriend’s birthday and we’ll bring our friends and family with us! It’s not too far from Joshua Tree either which is a plus!

It was HOT during our visit, but the grounds, staff, and room were amazing. We had some little critters as guests in our room, but nothing desert life doesn’t prepare you for. Staff were notified and all was well. The air conditioner was working very hard to keep up with 3-digit plus weather, but the room was so nice. It was quiet. We sat outside after Beats Antique was at Pappy & Harriet’s, and stargazed and took in the Milky Way. Wonderful stay. Would love to come back during every season. Red Dog Saloon served Mean Gene’s iced coffee and that was heaven and easily walkable, too! Thank you!!!

This is my third time staying here and I love it every time. We have always lucked out with getting a room here when going to see a show at Pappy and Harriet’s. It’s the best way to do it. The rooms are always great and the staff if always very nice. I’ll definitely be staying here more.

I was traveling with my daughter and this was our first visit to Joshua Tree national park. We both enjoyed our stay. My daughter loved the hammocks outside the rooms. We were able to do some star gazing from the motel grounds as well. The AC was too loud and we turned it off. Before coming we were a bit worried about safety, but we found the area and the motel safe.
