This is consistently an affordable yet clean and well-maintained place to stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s a restaurant that’s open some evenings (Fri and Sat I believe, maybe other evenings). Safe quiet place to stay!

Keep in mind that the restaurant is closed on Monday, one of the reasons why I selected this lodge. After a 9 hr. drive was disappointment that there was no food on the premises. Not familiar with the area I needed to drive 20 minutes to find a restaurant. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfy.

This is a lovely little spot. If you’re looking for a lot of action you probably wouldn’t like it. If you want a nice quiet place to relax this is the spot. The restaurant is very good and reasonable prices. They were open for dinner only. We found a great spot for lunch about 10 miles away in Beckley- The Dish. Excellent food and service. We chose to come to the area to go to the national park. It’s a little less than an hour away but worth the trip. Enjoy the view of the lake in back.

we were very pleased with our stay at Skyline, we were tired and neede a good night sleep and thats what we got. The only thing I could say that the continental breakfast could have had maybe toast or bagel with butter and cream cheese.
