Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. We messaged the host to let them know that we needed towels for the two days of our stay, but we were left without towels. The host saw our message but unfortunately did not respond or provide any. The shower drain was blocked, and the bed sheets had visible stains. There was also some mould in the room. The air conditioning was not working properly, and even when set to 18°C, the room never really got cold. The Wi-Fi was also poor and unreliable. Another issue was the number of stairs. We were told there would be around 90 steps to reach the accommodation, but there were actually around 150 stairs, which made accessing the property quite uncomfortable, especially with luggage. On the positive side, the room had a refrigerator, iron and kettle, which were useful. The self check-in process was also easy, with clear instructions provided the day before arrival. Overall, while the self check-in process and some of the room facilities were convenient, the lack of towels, cleanliness issues, blocked shower drain, poor Wi-Fi, air conditioning problem and significantly higher number of stairs than advertised negatively affected our stay.

4/10 Fair

Unfortunately we arrived to an uncleaned apartment so couldn’t relax and unpack after our journey and had to vacate once the cleaner arrived. Management were helpful in coordinating this but it was frustrating especially arriving with 2 children. The next day there was no water at all so couldn’t brush our teeth or shower, which we were told was a municipality issue due to recent mudslides. We had to wait to shower until the evening at which point there was less than ten minutes of hot water for a family of 4. The WiFi was also very sporadic. The mattress and pillows were quite hard. Overall the apartment itself was modern and nicely decorated and in a reasonable location ( bus stop and a breakfast cafe 5 minutes away), and a 20 minute walk to the beach. Just a shame about the issues we had.

The host was quick to respond to inquiries but overall service was sub-par. The Comfort Double room was not as described or seen as in photos in the listing. If you are staying for more than a few days, ensure you bring enough toiletries, as there was very little available for 2 people with no change in towels throughout the stay. The bathroom was not maintained well and showed alot of mold. Note, it's about a 25minute walk down to the beach, but 130 steps from the road to get up to the room.

We stayed here for three nights, and it was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. Before arrival, we received no check-in instructions or access codes. We called the number on Hotels.com several times without any response. Only late on the day of arrival did the host contact us via WhatsApp and finally send the codes. The apartment smelled strongly of dampness. There was mold in the bathroom and even near the bed. The shower drain barely worked, leaving us standing in dirty water. The biggest issue was security. At 11:00 PM, a stranger opened our room door and walked inside. An hour later, someone knocked, demanding “his keys” because he had previously stayed in the room. The host admitted he had been calling her, but she ignored his calls because she was asleep. The next day we discovered that even a locked room could still be opened using the access code. We no longer felt safe leaving our belongings inside. The bathroom extractor fan ran all night and could not be switched off. The air conditioner also could not be controlled, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The host provided almost no useful information. Even new guests arrived without the correct access codes and had to knock on our door for help. We travel a lot and rarely leave negative reviews, but this is about guest safety, not small inconveniences. We cannot recommend this property to anyone.
