"It was a really bad time with the hurricane in Florida and it seems like there were five or six staff members that pretty much were there the whole time we were there. Breakfast was always stocked. The only problem I have is that I was negligent and left my favorite Jean jacket in one of the 3 different rooms we stayed in and it walked away. I am 100% sure that I hung it in the closet and didn’t think to look in there before we left the room. I really sad about that jacket."

"The hotel had flooded due to the hurricane that came through. The staff did a great job of having the hotel in the best condition possible given the circumstances. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that due to the weather conditions we wanted to verify the hotel was even open. I called the hotel directly and could not get any answer. Expedia could not reach them either and the corporate number (Choice hotels) had no idea and could never verify. Expedia was very clear that they would find us accommodation if the hotel was not open. Choice hotels made no offer to help us in that event."
