1969 DKelly Hotel
"We love the hotel’s Art Deco/contemporary luxury design, making it a truly unique and beautiful property. A lot of thought goes into every aspect from the impressive reception lobby to the luxurious bed linen. The welcome tea hosted on the Executive Floor lounge is a nice and hospitable gesture (well done)! Don’t miss going up to the rooftop garden. The views are amazing! The staff are helpful and friendly. Special mention of the Concierge Mr Amin who has a cheerful smile for everyone. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we have had. We will definitely choose to stay at the D’Kelly again when we next visit Ipoh. We wish the 1969 D’Kelly brand will carry across other Malaysian cities. Book it, you will not regret it."
AC Hotels by Marriott Ipoh
"Clean and spacious room. Courteous staff."
Hotel Excelsior
"Hotel Excelsior is strategically located in Ipoh downtown and many well-regarded eateries are within walking distance. We always stay here just for this reason. Just imagine: directly opposite the hotel is the renowned Oversea Restaurant that offers the finest Cantonese cuisine. The rooms are spacious with a bright and cheery vibe. Seems like the hotel has gonr through recent refurbishment. Cost is also reasonable. A good place to stay at."
Bedrock Hotel
"Staff is exceptional and very friendly. Nice location."
Stallionz by Mana Mana
"The facility is new, nice and clean. Due to its size, it is kind of noisy either in the late evening or morning."
M Boutique Station 18
"There is a Aeon Mall & Supermarket in 5 mins walking distance; that is the best point of the hotel. Limited hotel car park hence I have to park outside hotel which is chargeable. The staff is friendly and helpful."
M Boutique Hotel
"Excellent and quirky hotel , would stay there again"
WEIL Hotel
"Everything was up to my expectation except for one small thing...the hotel does not replenish the tidbits everyday after the 1st day upon arrival. If they can replenish bottles of mineral water, coffee, tea satchets & toilet rolls, why not give customers fresh tidbits everyday in the room? The cleaners said they only give the 2 packets of tidbits for the 1st day only."
REGALODGE HOTEL & SPA
"Had an amazing stay at Regalodge"

This duration allows you to enjoy budget-friendly experiences, such as discovering local coffee shops, visiting temples, and exploring caves, as well as taking in the natural beauty of hilly landscapes and rainforests. Additionally, activities like rafting and relaxing in hot springs can provide great value for money, making your trip both enjoyable and economical.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover exclusive hotel deals in Ipoh, you may want to explore the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you could find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications is a smart way to remain informed about flash sales and special last-minute promotions, helping you seize opportunities for savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-informed if rooms become available or prices decrease, putting you in a prime position to book your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more cost-effective stay in an Ipoh hotel. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and occasionally offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to more affordable options.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Ipoh's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
