Brand new hotel only in 15 weeks old. Spotless and great staff. Quiet (for near an airport) and very comfy beds. If you are leaving your car there very secure. Great free transport to the terminals on request.

6/10 Good

Nice shiny new hotel with great furnishings and a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is not very well arranged - menu only and very over-priced with no juices or pastries available buffet-style. They could take learn some lessons from the gold standard Dakota Newcastle.

Fabulous room, lovely and quiet. Comfy bed and great bathroom. Bar was gorgeous with great selection of cocktails. Ate at the bar, not cheap, but very very nice. Free shuttle to airport is a welcome extra. Everything was spotless, this is a new hotel, I hope it remains so good.

Staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived until being dropped off by the airport shuttle. More than dropped off to be clear. Luggage loaded and unloaded by a friendly staff member. We will use this as our go to hotel for travel from Manchester. Service in lounge and at breakfast were spot on with staff eager to meet guests needs.

8/10 Very good

A beautiful hotel and beautiful room at a very good price. The staff were, without exception, exceptional. My only complaint was the price of the bar food. A simple burger was over £20, chips were an additional £6.50 and if you wanted salt and pepper on them it would set you back another £2! Overpriced bar food aside, the Dakota will be my preferred location next time I’m at Manchester Airport.

8/10 Very good

This is a beautiful new hotel. Check in was easy and the rooms are luxurious and extremely comfortable. Transport to and from the airport and railway station is easy to arrange and the concierges were extremely helpful, even late in the evening The only downside of our stay was the breakfast. Looking at other reviews, it seems we were just unlucky. Felt we were invisible as difficult to attract attention of staff. Eventually got served but had to wait a very long time for food- it wasn't even busy! Very frustrating and unusual for airport hotels, when you are heading to the airport to catch a flight. Apart from the poor experience in the restaurant, I cannot praise highly enough the rest of the staff and the hotel itself.
