Location is prime, endless food and bubble tean options within 5 mins walk around the hotel. Nanjing square just across the street… Its close to everywhere including train station to Pudong side and airport. Breakfast with decent considering the price. King size bed is extremely huge, more like a XL King size and so comfy. The only negative thing is we sometime find unpleasant smell in hallway area and the extremely loud toilette flush.

We had a great stay in Elong Hotel. The room was well equipped with comfortable pillows, plenty of bottled water and free drinks in the minibar. Breakfast spread was good and the free noodle supper was a delight. There’s free flow of coffee and tea at the lobby. Conviently located near the Nanjing Pedestrian Street and close to 2 main subway stations. Many restaurants near the hotel. Front office staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff were very nice and friendly. The location is great if you want to be centre of city, next to Nanjing Rd and 500m to the waterfront Bund walkway. The property is clean. It’s older and doesn’t have a ton of amenities but it is value, the price is great for this location and it’s clean with great staff. I will be back.

We had a wonderful stay and were extremely happy with both the location and the facilities at the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We especially appreciated the free self-service laundry room. The complimentary water and soft drinks were also replenished every day, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very good, and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel even offered complimentary noodles in the evening. What really made our stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone we met, both in housekeeping and at reception, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to 橙子, who was exceptionally kind and service-minded. We had many questions about Shanghai, including sightseeing, shopping, transportation and bookings, and she was always happy to help us with a smile. One day, when we wanted to go to the cinema, she looked up the cinema and its location for us, showed us how to book the tickets, and explained how to get there either on foot or by taxi using the local apps. This kind of personal assistance made exploring Shanghai so much easier for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel. The combination of a great location, spacious and well-equipped rooms, excellent facilities and, above all, such genuinely helpful and friendly staff made our stay in Shanghai particularly enjoyable. I book a corner room that entitle for breakfast for 2 but the hotel only provided me breakfast for one since only one person occupy the room and provided me with standard room instead. Since I paid for a room that allow 2 occupants, I think the hotel should honor the value that i settled for. The room view is not great at all. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, nur wenige MInuten zu Fuss zur Nanjing Road. Es war im Zimmer sehr ruhig und das Bett war bequem, auch die Klimaanlage war gut, nicht direkt aufs Bett gerichtet und nicht zu laut. Man kann direkt vom Bett die Vorhänge und diverse Belichtungsoptionen bedienen. Der WC-Ring ist beheizt und es gibt einen Automaten, um die Tücher vor dem Duschen aufzuwärmen. Aus unserer Sicht völlig unnötig, aber wer weiss, andere finden das vielleicht toll ;) ... Das fancy WC hat einen Schalter auf der Seite, der sehr hell leuchtet, und durch das Fenster (Milchglas) im Bad das ganze Zimmer nachts beleuchtet - uns hat das total gestört und auch durch Abdecken mit einem Handtuch wurde es leider nicht besser. Das Hotel ist schlecht gewartet, das Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber und der Frühstücksraum ist ungemütlich und unpraktisch, ausserdem war es viel zu kalt. Das Frühstück selbst war gut, nur fanden wir es schlimm, wie die Gäste mit dem Essen umgingen. Es wurde massenhaft gehamstert und am Schluss blieb alles stehen - Foodwaste im Quadrat :( ... ich nenne keine Nationalitäten, aber scheinbar machen das gewisse einfach so. Selbst in Shanghai verstehen die Angestellten kaum Englisch und das in einem grossen Hotel! Zwischen 8-10 Uhr abends gibt es gratis Nudelsuppe, die war richtig gut und eine schöne Geste. Fazit: es war ok, aber wir würden das Hotel kein zweites Mal buchen.

Хороший отель. Очень центрально , недалеко от метро. Отель находится в здании отеля Holiday inn, мы немного поплутали пока нашли. Комната великолепная , вид из номера был потрясающий, уборка номера очень хорошая. Завтраки великолепные. Еще вечерняя лапша с 20-22 очень приятный плюс . 2 виды лапши и дамплинги, просто супер вкусно. Единственно,что показалось странно ,это бумажные купоны на завтрак, которые нужно получать каждый день на ресепшене . Очень легко забыть про это и приходилось ездить на рецепшен по утрам за этими талонами. Странно как то, в Китае все так автоматизировано , бумажные купоны в центральном отеле Шанхая, это как то странно . Но не критично совсем. Нам все понравилось , мы с удовольствием посоветуем отель друзьям
