Frequent visitors to Greece will recognize several common and recurring problems in Greek tourist 2/3-star hotels. Small bathrooms, noise from other rooms and hard mattresses. While the first two issues were not a problem in this hotel, the beds were beyond uncomfortable. IF YOU ARE A SIDE SLEEPER< JUST SAY NO, to this one.
This is a shame, as in fact the location is pretty good, and the bathrooms are very nice for a Greek tourist hotel.
Yes, the pool looks charming in photos, but the hotel is only a few blocks from an excellent beach and no one used the pool at all during my stay.
I complained of the hard mattress and they had housekeeping add a small foam pad, which only helped marginally, at best. They looked at us funny for even making the complaint, though from their quick response, it was clear they had had similar complaints before. In fact, it was so bad I actually checked out a night early and just ate the lost night expense.
Overall, in a pinch, you may want to book for a night or two, but for any longer stay I (and my poor back) do not recommend.
