Bastion Hotel Apeldoorn Het Loo
"Found some dirt and hair clips from past stays around the beds. Windows didn’t seem to lock in room. Door catch would not shut unless you banged the door shut. Safe was broken on arrival and took 3 times over 2 days to get fixed Not told and missed small sign in room about having to ask to get the room cleaned at reception. Think you should be told this upon check in. In the main, minor things. Overall, location was good. Free car parking. Bus stop into town for shops or train was right outside. Didn’t use it but gym looked good. Rooms had everything we needed in them."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Hengelo. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, increasing the likelihood that you’ll secure the best deal.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation close to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often tends to come with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sights you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which are more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
