Raizes de Vinha is one of the best stays we have had on our 19 days trip to Portugal. The surroundings in which the appartments are situated are gorgious. We stayed in the house that is situated at the end of the land. Therefore it was very quit and we could enjoy the silence at the fullest. The breakfast that is served by sr Matias (who is famous for his cheese) is one of the best we have ever had in our lives . It was served with 6 different kind of cheeses that were made by sr Matias himself. Every one of them was a delight to eat. Also the croissants, sweet bread and the jam were maid by themselves. The whole breakfast was a real experience with all kind of tastes. We stayed there for 3 days so we have had the privelege to have this experience 3 times, which we loved. sr Matias himself is a real intrepenur and is a pleasure to have good conversations with. We enjoyed his stories about his life and what he has experienced, a lot. Herewith we would like to thank sr Matias for the wonderfull and most of all, very tastefull stay we had❤️

O Matias proprietário é um excelente anfitrião, nos recebeu com muito carinho Tivemos uma excelente experiência, uma degustação de queijo da Serra feito de forma artesanal pelo anfitrião, harmonizando com vinho, pães e compotas. Além de diversas dicas de passeios. A acomodação é excelente, com bons quartos, piscina. O café da manhã é maravilhoso com produtos regionais. Super recomendo!

This was my third time at Raízes da Vinha. Every time they amaze me with their friendliness. The hotel is located in a great spot with a view to the mountains, is spectacular. The rooms are clean and if something is not right the staff is quick to help you. I strongly recommend it.
