The Resident Liverpool

10/10 Excellent
"We were a family of four and stayed in a junior suite. We couldn’t have been happier with The Resident and can’t imagine getting a better hotel, better accommodation and better location in Liverpool. The hotel itself feels very upmarket. Stylish and spotless. Every member of staff we encountered were warm, friendly and efficient. We even had a hand written note in the room on arrival. The room was perfect and we just love the Ropewalks area. Close to everything and spoiled for choice in terms of restaurants. Bravo The Resident. We will definitely be back."

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery

8/10 Good
"The Municipal is a lovely hotel, communal areas are fabulous, it is in a great location and was immaculate. We booked it for my birthday due to it being the only 5 star hotel in Liverpool and thought we would give it a try, we normally stay in the Titanic hotel, however I’m not really sure why it is classed as a 5 star hotel. The Titanic hotel in Liverpool is far more superior in my view. We stayed in a Superior room in the municipal and I have to say I was disappointed, the rooms in the Titanic are by far better, they are around 3 x the size with lounge area and have a bath as well as a shower. We are unlikely to stay again at the Municipal but it may suit others more than us so don’t be put off we just prefer something different."

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"Our room was excellent with a lovely sea view and a table and chairs in the bay window. Good, clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good. The bar is looking a bit tired and could do with some freshening up. Plants, pictures, curtains at the windows would make a big difference to the ‘ambiance’. Very comfortable bed."
