We truly loved our stay at SonoLux. It is a small, boutique concept hotel but the attention to details was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and large with great lighting and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The speakeasy in the basement is also a fun delight. I will stay here again!

The hotel was immaculate. Staff at front door was always helpful. Great speakeasy downstairs was a treat and a great jazz band trio. No amenities to speak of, and breakfast is at an additional cost. The rooms are small but have everything you need and very clean.

Location was great for our needs. The hotel is very close to a lot of good restaurants. Staff always greeted us as we walked into the hotel. Bed was very comfortable. The one criticism I have is that the hotel room needed more lighting. Despite that, I would stay here again if I were ever back in Montreal.

Very overpriced for what you get - maybe we just stayed during an expensive weekend but we were shocked to pay $600 a night and be directed to a self check in when we got there. No offer to help with bags or general warm welcome when we check in. Minimal toiletries (no body lotion) in the room. The front lobby is cold and looks like a cafeteria. The bed was comfortable and room was clean.
